Our Story

Born from the
oldest kitchen

Ember & Oak began with a single belief: that the most extraordinary flavors are coaxed from the most ancient of elements — wood, fire, and time. Chef Marcus Vann spent a decade perfecting his craft across kitchens in Lyon, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo before returning home to build something rooted.

Every evening, our hearth burns with a blend of white oak, cherry, and apple wood, chosen for the distinct character each imparts to the season's finest cuts and harvests.

Our central wood-burning hearth is the soul of the kitchen — visible from every seat. We burn white oak, cherry, and apple wood daily, each lending unique character to the flame.
